Nashville NAWBO has partnered with Women in Numbers (WIN) to host the Miss Representation screening at the Belcourt Theatre on Monday, May 12. The event will consist of the screening of the 75-minute film, Miss Representation, followed by a panel discussion of local women who serve as public figures in the Nashville community.
The Miss Representation film explores how the media’s portrayal of women has led to the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence. Through the screening and discussion of this film we hope to encourage women to become more influential in our community.
