Testimonials

I found a great group of talented business women who network well!
February Luncheon Guest

Being a member of NAWBO Nashville has been such a great decision for me. When I was getting started, it was invaluable to have all of this knowledge at my fingertips from the more experienced members. Now that I've been in business for a while, I value being able to share what I know. Every month, I learn something new I can use in my business, and the networking contacts alone have made it so worthwhile.

    11:00-Networking

    11:30 – 1:00 p.m. – Lunch & Program

When severe weather strikes, it can affect your business!

It has been almost a year since the Nashville Flood! Is severe weather becoming the norm? Come hear from Kelly Cox, News Channel 5 Meteorologist,  AND Letha Edwards, President, BigMeanKitty.com, who will be discussing how to protect your electronic data in case severe weather strikes.

Our Keynote speaker, Kelly Cox will be discussing the implications of severe weather watches/warnings. She also will share how & why the weather service issues watches/warnings. And Letha Edwards will share need-to-know information about protecting that all-important “data”.

Meet Kelly Cox AND Letha Edwards

From hurricanes to tornadoes, Kelly Cox  has covered some of the nations most volatile weather. She is a Tennessee girl through and through. She grew up outside of Maryville,Tenn. Her mom, a Tennessee school teacher, remembers her doing “mock weather forecasts” into a wooden kitchen spoon by the age of 5! Little did she know then it would become a career.

Kelly went on to graduate as the Valedictorian of Heritage High School, and in 1997 she was named the Tennessee State Youth Volunteer of the Year. She attended Middle Tennessee State University on the Presidential Scholarship.

Through the years, Letha Edwards and her team of experts have been privileged to work with some very talented clients in many different professions. That array of clients has enabled BigMeanKitty.com to express their creativity and simultaneously serve their respective visions.

The Nashville Chapter of NAWBO is appreciative to STATE FARM for their generous luncheon sponsorship!

Come at 11:00 AM and network with other business women owners and our speakers, Kelly Cox and Letha Edwards.

As always, Nashville NAWBO meets the last Thursday of each month.  This month our meeting will be on Thursday, March 31st from 11-1 at Maggiano’s Little Italy.  Bring plenty of business cards and get ready for some great networking, fun company, and terrific learning . . . not to mention the fabulous food!
